IAOT : Institute of Architecture and Other Things - IAOT explores a method of structural transformation in terms of purpose, use, and expression. The project begins with the study of a column supported arch system that is later on evolved into a spatial shell system. IAOT compromises of 6 adjacent tectonic shell modules which integrate with a stereotomic mass capping both ends of the project. The shell modules, mainly housing public programs, allow for large light perforations to meet programmatic needs. Meanwhile, the stereotomic mass houses private and service zones.
